At Bellingham Sailing Foundation (BSF), we want to make sure every kid in Whatcom County has a chance to experience sailing — whether they’re brand new to the water or ready to join a race team.

Our Youth Sailing Scholarships help cover the cost of summer camps or race team programs so that financial barriers don’t keep kids from getting on the water. Scholarships can cover up to 100% of program fees and are applied directly to registration. They can’t be used to pay for past programs.

To give as many kids as possible a chance to participate, scholarships are limited to one per season — either for a summer camp or a race team program.

These scholarships are part of BSF’s mission to get more young people sailing and to teach seamanship, safety, and a love for our local waters. Thanks to generous donors, local businesses, and community support, we’re able to help more kids set sail every year!
